Our next meeting is.... FINALS DAY! Daytona Milton Keynes plays host to the final meeting of 2017. Our champions have bee crowned already, but there are battles to be fought all through the field, not least the 3 way fight for 2nd lace in the HW class. The cost to race this one is £67. Format is 10 minutes Qualifying and two 20 minute races. If you are planning on entering the champinship next year and want to see what it's all about, please feel free to join us.

Planned Itinerary For A 10am Start:

9:15am: Arrival to circuit, Sign-In and Weigh-In.

10:00am: Briefing.

10:15am: First Group, 10-Minute Qualifying Session.

10:25am: First Group, Race 1 (20 Minutes).

10:50am: Second Group, 10-Minute Qualifying Session.

11:00am: Second Group, Race 1 (20 Minutes).

11:25am: First Group, Race 2 (20 Minutes).

11:50am: Second Group, Race 2 (20 Minutes).

12:20pm: Medal Presentation and Podium Photos.

IF A ROUND HAS TO ACCOMMODATE ANY EXTRA GROUPS/RACES, THE TIMING WILL BE EXTENDED BY 35 MINS PER GROUP.

 

Weight classes for the 2017 Championship are as follows:


It has been decided that we will run with the the same weight classes for both the Sprint Championship and

The Midweek Championship.

 

Lightweight: 65kg - 78.3kg. 

Mediumweight: 78.4kg - 91.6kg.  

Heavyweight:  91.7kg+.


All drivers will be weighed in overalls and helmet. please be aware that should any driver loosing or gaining weight and therefore having to change weight classes during the season will be deducted a total of 20 points from their overall score.

 

Points scoring for 2017 will be as follows:

 

Drivers will be allowed to drop four races during the season, with their best twenty races counting towards the championship.

 

1st = 12 pts.  

2nd = 10 pts.  

3rd = 8 pts.  

4th = 7 pts.  

5th = 6 pts. 

6th = 5 pts.  

7th = 4 pts.

8th = 3 pts.  

9th = 2 pts. 

10th = 1 pt. 

 

Pole Position for Race 1: 1 point.

Fastest Lap (each race): 1 point.

In the event of a tie, the position will go to the Driver who has the highest number of pole positions or fastest laps.
